One-step purification and characterization of cellulase-free xylanase produced by alkalophilic Bacillus subtilis ash

The present study describes the one-step purification and characterization of an extracellular cellulase-free xylanase from a newly isolated alkalophilic and moderately thermophilic strain of Bacillus subtilis ASH.
